Esther Leslie

For the Beautifullest Place on Earth Esther Leslie’s essay  On Craft and Matthew Beaumont’s essay News From Nowhere were reprinted as pamphlets and distributed free of charge to students at UCL, visitors and staff at Red House. The pamphlets were commissioned by artist Melanie Jackson based on a modernist reprint of Morris’ essay  Art Labour and Socialism found in a National Trust bookshop.

The pamphlets were also available from Morris Studio in The Nomadic Reading Room with her selection of pamphlets and printed matter from the collection of former Red House resident Ted Hollamby.
